STATEMENT: Assisted Dying

As many of you are aware, today is a very important but emotive day in Parliament as we consider The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill.

I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to share their personal experiences and perspectives with me.

I will be voting for the Bill to go forward, at which point I will be seeking reassurances to the concerns I have about the Bill in its current form.
